Sunan at-Tirmithiy

Āishah said, "The messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, used to kiss and fondle his wives while fasting, and he was the most capable among men of controlling his desire."(1)
1) This means that the physical contact did not lead to anything that breaks the fast. Other men may not have such control over their desire.
