Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب الصلاة باب ما جاء فى المسجد الذى أسس على التقوى
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِى الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ فِيهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا وَلاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلاَّ فِى يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ. قَالَ وَفِى الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِى لُبَابَةَ وَسَلْمَانَ وَأَبِى ذَرٍّ وَسَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ وَأَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he was admitted into Paradise, and on it he was expelled from it. [And] the Hour[1] will only be established on a Friday."
[1]: i.e. The Last Hour in which the world will come to an end and the Day of Judgement will begin.
