Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب البيوع باب ما جاء فى كراهية بيع الثمرة حتى يبدو صلاحها
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يَزْهُوَ.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, prohibited the selling of palm trees until their fruits became reddish or yellowish (1).
(1) to guarantee a good crop.
