Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب الحج باب ما جاء فى الصلاة فى الحجر
'Ā'ishah said, "I wanted to enter the House (i.e. the Ka’bah [1]) and pray in there; so the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, took me by the hand and led me into to the enclosure [2] and said, 'Pray in the enclosure if you wish to enter the House; for it is part of the House, but your people reduced it (in size) [3] when they built the Ka’bah and thus took it out of the House.'"
