ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ Abu-Mahthūrah said that the call to prayer the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, taught him was nineteen phrases and the call to the start of prayer (1) was seventeen phrases. (1) The call to the start of prayer (iqāmah) is a shorter and quicker version of the call to prayer (athān) that is said to let people know that the prayer is about to start. ”

The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Whoever recites the Qur'ān skillfully will be with the noble, dutiful messenger-angels (in the hereafter); and whoever recites with hardship (according to one narrator) or recites it with difficulty (according to another narrator), will have two rewards."
