ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, vowed not to come near his wives for a month. Hence, he stayed away in a room for twenty-nine days. The Companions exclaimed, 'Messenger of God, your oath was for a month!' He replied, ‘A month is [at times] twenty-nine days.'” ”
