Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب الصوم باب منه [ تحرى ليلة القدر ]

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَجْتَهِدُ فِى الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ مَا لاَ يَجْتَهِدُ فِى غَيْرِهَا. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ.
'Ā'ishah [Bint-Abī-Bakr as-Siḍḍīq] said, "The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, used to strive (1) during the last ten [nights] of Ramaḍān more than any other time."
(1) The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon on him, used to intensify his worship and righteous deeds in these nights, hoping to attain the blessings of the Glorious Night of Determination.
