Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب البيوع باب ما جاء فى الرخصة فى أكل الثمرة للمار بها
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ الْخُزَاعِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِى جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ كُنْتُ أَرْمِى نَخْلَ الأَنْصَارِ فَأَخَذُونِى فَذَهَبُوا بِى إِلَى النَّبِىِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَافِعُ لِمَ تَرْمِى نَخْلَهُمْ. قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الْجُوعُ. قَالَ لاَ تَرْمِ وَكُلْ مَا وَقَعَ أَشْبَعَكَ اللَّهُ وَأَرْوَاكَ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ.
Rāfi' Ibn-'Amr said, "I used to throw [stones or the like] at the palm trees of al-Anṣār (Supporters of Madīnah), so they took me to the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him. He asked me, 'Rāfi', what makes you stone the palm trees?' I replied, 'Hunger, Messenger of God.' He said, "Do not stone [ palm trees], eat what falls [naturally], may God satiate your hunger and quench your thirst."
