Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب صفة القيامة باب [كظم الغيظ ]
حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْغِفَارِىُّ الْمَدَنِىُّ حَدَّثَنِى أَبِى عَنْ أَبِى بَكْرِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثَلاَثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ نَشَرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ كَنَفَهُ وَأَدْخَلَهُ جَنَّتَهُ رِفْقٌ بِالضَّعِيفِ وَشَفَقَةٌ عَلَى الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَإِحْسَانٌ إِلَى الْمَمْلُوكِ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ. وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ هُوَ أَخُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Whoever has these three [qualities] shall be encompassed by God’s mercy and will be allowed into His paradise: gentleness towards the weak, compassion towards parents, and kindness towards slaves (1)."
1. Slavery existed throughout the known world at the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him. Islām encouraged the freeing of slaves and gave them certain rights as members of the household.
