باب ما جاء فى لحوم الحمر الأهلية
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِىُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِىِّ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِىِّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِى عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِىِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَالْحَسَنِ ابْنَىْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِىٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ زَمَنَ خَيْبَرَ وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الأَهْلِيَّةِ.
At the time of [the Battle of] Khaybar, the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, prohibited fixed-term marriages (1) as well as [the consumption of] the flesh of domesticated donkeys. Footnote: (1): Also called 'marriage of pleasure'. A type of marriage that was allowed in the early years of the Madinan community and was later banned, in which a woman agrees to marry a man for a limited period of time stated in the contract of marriage. Spousal rights and obligations of this type of marriage are markedly reduced from those of permanent Islamic marriage.
