ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Anyone of you is considered in a state of prayer (and rewarded accordingly) as long as he awaits it, and the angels continue to invoke blessings for anyone of you as long as you are in the mosque (1) (saying), 'O God, forgive them, O God, have mercy on them,' provided you do not incur a minor ritual impurity (2)." A man from Ḥa ḍramawt asked, "What is minor ritual impurity, Abū-Hurayrah?" He replied, "Silent passing of gas or passing gas with a sound." Footnotes: (1) This also refers in general to the place where one has prayed. (2) A state that prevents praying, and requires performing new ablution in order to pray. ”
