Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب الدعوات باب ما جاء فى الدعاء إذا أوى إلى فراشه

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رضى الله عنه أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِى أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَكَفَانَا وَآوَانَا وَكَمْ مِمَّنْ لاَ كَافِىَ لَهُ وَلاَ مُؤْوِىَ. قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ.
When going to bed, the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, used to say, "Praise is to God who fed us and quenched our thirst, who sufficed us and sheltered us; for how many are there with no one to suffice them nor shelter them!" Click on ḥadīth to read more
