ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, “Three will not have their supplication rejected: a fasting person until he (1) breaks his fast, a just ruler, and the supplication of the wronged; God raises it above the clouds, opens the gates of heaven for it, and the Lord then says, ‘By My Might, I surely will vindicate you, even if after a while.’” Footnotes: (1) Masculine pronouns are generally used in Arabic as a means for referring to both men and women when the meaning is left general and is not otherwise specified. ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy

A man passed by Ḥuṯẖayfah Ibnul-Yamān so he was told that the man relates people's conversations to leaders. Ḥuṯẖayfah then said, "I heard the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, say, 'A talebearer does not enter Paradise.'" Click on ḥadīth to read more
