ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ 'Uqbah Ibn-'Āmir asked, "Messenger of God, what is salvation?" He replied, "Control your tongue, keep to your house, (1) and weep over your sins." Footnote (1): i.e. do those acts of worship which cause you to stay at home, such as being occupied with the remembrance of God and staying away from worldly distractions. ”

ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب البر والصلة باب ما جاء فى رحمة اليتيم وكفالته

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْمَكِّىُّ الْقُرَشِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِى حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ فِى الْجَنَّةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ. وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعَيْهِ يَعْنِى السَّبَّابَةَ وَالْوُسْطَى. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "The supporter of an orphan and I will be in Paradise like these two." and he showed his two fingers (the index and middle fingers). Click on ḥadīth to read more
