Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب البر والصلة باب ما جاء فى حق الوالدين
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِى صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ يَجْزِى وَلَدٌ وَالِدًا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَجِدَهُ مَمْلُوكًا فَيَشْتَرِيَهُ فَيُعْتِقَهُ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِى صَالِحٍ. وَقَدْ رَوَى سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِىُّ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِى صَالِحٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "A child can never repay a parent, unless he finds him (1) enslaved, and buys him to set him free (2)."
