ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, “The difference between what is permissible (as defined by God) and what is forbidden (as defined by God) is the (beating of) drums and the announcement.” Footnotes: (1) This is an encouragement to make marriage public by beating drums as a form of announcement, and talking about it. ”
