ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "The five prayers and Friday prayer to Friday prayer are expiation of what was [committed] between them as long as no grave sins are committed (1)." Footnote (1): This means that all sins are forgiven, except grave sins, which need true repentance in order to be forgiven. ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب فضائل الجهاد باب ما جاء فى فضل الخدمة فى سبيل الله

حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِى أُمَامَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَفْضَلُ الصَّدَقَاتِ ظِلُّ فُسْطَاطٍ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَنِيحَةُ خَادِمٍ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ طَرُوقَةُ فَحْلٍ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ عِنْدِى مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ.
