ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ A man greeted the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, while he was urinating so he did not reply (1). Footnotes: (1) The Islamic greeting is "(May) God's peace, blessings and mercy be upon you"; the response would be in the same form. Mentioning the name of God is not permissible while urinating as an indication of reverence. ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy

The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Both the buyer and the seller have the option [to complete the sale or rescind it], as long as they have not yet parted ways nor finalized the sale." When Ibn-'Umar bought something while sitting down, he would stand up in order to confirm his purchase (1). Footnotes: (1) Standing up would signal the end of negotiations and thus render the option to rescind no longer valid. Click on ḥadīth to read more
